Connecticut's EMMANUEL SEVEN have been toiling in the New England metal/hardcore scene for a few years now, turning heads continually with their fresh concoction of heavy music.With an initial deal with IDES OF MARCH RECORDS (owned by Shai Halud member, Matt Fox), the band waited a long time for this release to see its day. IDES OF MARCH began having difficulty bringing the record into fruition and the band was forced to look for other options. The band approached THORP RECORDS and a deal was struck. Finally, this stunning release will be properly distributed and promoted.

Annihilating all previously established notions of standard genre constructs, EMMANUEL SEVEN forge an entirely new detour littered with signs of metal, hardcore, grind, and experimental rock that will guide listeners through a sonic trip full of unsuspecting musical hills and hairpin turns. One minute the listener will recall elements of PIG DESTROYER and the other CAVE IN, and yet another MOTORHEAD. Classification is tough with this band, so I will limit the comparisons. All in all, EMMANUEL SEVEN is intricately woven, heavy, abrasive, and brings the rock with much impact.
