Harlots is a technical/progressive metal band out of the Bloomington Indiana and Dayton Ohio areas. They have a full length entitled "The Woman You Saw Is The Great City That Rules Over The Kings Of The Earth" out on Feeling Faint Productions, as well as split releases with Adamah and Manfailed. With influences ranging from Discordance Axis and Cryptopsy to Sigur Ros and Don Caballero, and having been compared to Sonic Youth in songwriting skill, they combine every form of extreme metal in a balls to the wall a million riffs a minute masterpiece then shatter it to pieces with an ambient and progressive wall of sound. Look for the new record "This is the Second Death" out in August 2005 on Lovelost Records.
