Kids Like Us started in 2003 when a couple of good friends were bored and decided to goof off and mess around with some cover songs. Those cover songs turned into original songs and that was when the band officially started.

Kids Like Us endured about 2-3 member changes before they released a full length CD and a split on Knife or Death Records. After a lot of touring with bands like Donnybrook, Down To Nothing, The Warriors, etc. KLU really began to come into their own and began writing songs that are truly something special. "The songs are getting better and the tours are getting longer."
